Resurrection Candidates in RCIA
This year our RCIA team is blessed to be exploring our faith with two candidates: Beth Chapman and James (Jim) Hubbard. Please pray for the Lord's guidance and our candidates' discernment as they prepare to come into the Church at the Easter Vigil.
Beth has been a resident of Canton since 2006. She has been attending the Easter vigil with her neighbor Elaine Jeris for about six years. Beth is eager to join the Catholic church at the upcoming Easter vigil. She is engaged to be married in August to Kevin Vaughn. Beth works at an advertising agency where she is responsible for a French-Canadian client. Her daughter Sarah is a recent graduate of Wayne State University - and she's planning to apply to graduate school. Her son Thomas is a senior at Plymouth High School and he will be attending Wayne State University in the fall where he will study food chemistry. Beth is looking forward to practicing the Catholic faith with her soon-to-be husband and hopes that her children will find renewed Faith from her example.
Jim Hubbard has been attending Resurrection Parish for 6 years with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children. They live in Canton. Jim works in Landscaping in the Plymouth/Canton area. Jim said," I am very much looking forward to learning and growing in the Catholic faith. The RCIA program has been such a great experience for me and I look forward to growing along with my family in the Catholic Church."
Our team has grown so much in our own faith during this journey with Beth and Jim. If you don't already know them, please introduce yourself when you see them at the 9 am Mass or other parish events.
