Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry empowers young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ through participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community. Youth ministry attempts to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of young people. Youth ministry gives young people the opportunity to gather with teens in the parish to celebrate and grow in their faith. Additionally, through vicariate and diocesan events, young people have a small experience of the larger Church.

Opportunities are available for both Middle School and High School Teens. Through social, spiritual and service experiences, young people grow personally and develop a greater understanding of their baptismal call to live as disciples and reach out to others. Each age group gathers with their peers for learning sessions to explore the faith and the Catholic Christian response to today’s issues and challenges.

Youth Ministry welcomes all young people unconditionally and provides an environment where teens can feel safe to be themselves.

Service Hours – You probably know that during the weeks when we have Generations of Faith we move around a lot of furniture – stacking chairs, setting up folding tables & chairs, putting projectors & screens in place, removing hymnals, and generally changing things around. The set up takes place on the Sundays before a Generations of Faith series around 12:30 PM, and it takes lots of helping hands to make it happen. Then, on the last night of each Generations of Faith series (Wednesdays) we have to put everything back to normal. We are usually able to start this by 8:15 or so. Both set up and tear down, with enough people, take 30-45 minutes.
hours available Sunday Feb. 26th at 12:30 PM and Wednesday, Feb. 29th at 8:15 PM
