Resurrection’s Mercy-in-Action Saturday, October 8
We will join parishes throughout SE Michigan and serve Christ by ministering to our community. This year we have COVID-friendly opportunities to aid the 20 homeless families at the Samaritas Westland Homeless Shelter for families.
Thank you for your generosity! Thanks to our Resurrection family for making the Samaritas Family Center Shower and BBQ a success. We dropped off a large load of donated detergent, sheets, blankets, towels, soap and other supplies. Our donations are valued at over $2000. Tamieka, Cynthia and the other staff at the Shelter are very appreciative and send their thanks for the work we do for the Shelter. The BBQ was a fun and tasty event for the families at the shelter.

Please keep the families staying at Samaritas in your prayers. The families at the shelter are particularly vulnerable now due to COVID and the soaring prices of housing. The average stay has increased from 74 days to 100.
