Readers proclaim the Word of God at weekend and Holy Day Masses. We are blessed to have a diverse group but
lost a fair number of readers during the pandemic, and are looking to rejuvenate the ministry, especially at the
4pm and 9am Masses. Whether you are a gifted public speaker with a passion to serve, or just looking for a
way to participate in the parish while enhancing your faith, the Reader Ministry is a low commitment, highly
rewarding opportunity.
There are three teams, one for each weekend Mass, and after a short 30-60 minute training, you’ll be rotated
into the next quarterly schedule of the Mass time/team you prefer, where you can plan to read every few weeks.
The team leaders are used to accommodating personal schedules, and each team does a good job supporting
one another along the way.
