Each fall, the AOD challenges us to help others in our greater community. There are 2 worthy groups Resurrection will be assisting in October.

St. Vincent de Paul  – a small group of Resurrection volunteers answer calls from neighbors within our parish boundaries each week. After meeting and interviewing our neighbors, we are often able to assist them in overcoming emergency situations. SVDP is requesting gift card donations, in any amount, to Meijer, Walmart, or Kroger. Your gift will enable the purchase of food, clothing, gas, and other essentials to help families return to self-sufficiency.

Strangers No Longer – is a Catholic group that assists recent immigrant families, who often arrive with only the clothes on their backs. SNL is requesting the following hygiene items to support families in need:

· Bar soap

· Shampoo

· Conditioner

· Disposable razors

· Maxi pads

· Lysol spray

· Deodorant

· Laundry detergent

· Diapers sizes 3,4,5

· Baby wipes

· Maxi pads

· Socks - kids, adult

· Mini pads

· Tooth paste

· Tooth brushes

· Liquid soap

· Laundry detergent

· Chlorox wipes

· Gift cards to Meijers, Target, Kroger
