Children's Liturgy of the Word
All children 4 years old and older are welcome to attend Children’s Liturgy of the Word at 11 a.m. Mass weekly. Younger children are welcome to attend with a parent.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for Resurrection’s children to engage in the Mass in a kid-friendly environment. The children will begin in the main church with their families and then they will be dismissed after the opening prayer to the Ric Craffey Social Hall. Adult leaders will present the same readings as at the Mass and spend some time engaging the children in the message. The children will return to the main church during the offertory and will remain with their parents for the rest of the liturgy.
