LOVE IN A BOX II… What does love look like? It has hands to help others. It has feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has ears to hear the sighs and sorrow of men. That is what love looks like. St. Augustine
Rather than giving up something for Lent, how about giving to someone? The economy is hitting us all hard, especially our neighbors in need and food depots. So, we are bringing back Love in a Box (2021 Easter project). If you wish to take part in this activity, get a box(s), decorate it if you wish, and over Lent, add the following items to your box(s). Then, the weekend of March 25/26 deliver your box(s) to Resurrection. We will gather all the boxes and distribute them to our St. Vincent de Paul neighbors in need and the John Bolde Food Depot. (If you will be out of town during this period, you can drop off your box early)
Thank you for your participation. Peace and blessings, Your Christian Service Commission
