Help Our Confirmation Candidates Help Others!
Resurrection’s Confirmation candidates have learned about children in need in our community and they want to make a difference! In response to an urgent request from the U.S. federal government, Starr Commonwealth is opening its Albion campus to help alleviate the developing humanitarian challenge at the southern border. A leader in healing trauma and building resilience in children, Starr has signed a facilities agreement to allow the Administration for Children and Families to utilize its 350-acre campus as a safe haven. ACF intends to provide temporary shelter for up to 240 unaccompanied migrant children as it works to unite them with their family or sponsors.
Consider checking out our Sign Up Genius to choose an item to donate. New clothes and toys may be dropped off at Resurrection any time before Sunday, June 6th. Thanks for helping our Confirmation candidates realize that they can make a difference and thank you for bringing comfort to children facing challenging situations!
